Sadie Amara Calvano has become popular for her role as Violet Plunkett that she played in the CBS comedy Mom. Calvano was born in California and first became interested in gymnastics. Then, she chose to be an actor. Her debut on screen was the 2010 episode of CBS's 'NCIS'. Her big screen debut came within a year on the Biographical Drama film "J Edgar". In the past, she's established herself as among the most promising actors in the industry. In 2011, she was awarded an award for a Young Artist Award nomination for the top Actress on a TV Series and guest Actress 11-15. In 2013, as a guest role in Disney XD's "Kickin' it' comedy series and received a second nomination for the Young Artist Award. Calvano played a role in a handful of episodes of "Mom" in its 4th season. She played the main actor in the early three seasons of the series. Her performance as a rising star in Mom brought her an award called the Gracie Allen Award, which is given to outstanding female actors.
