Alison Pill
Pill was first introduced as a Canadian-produced show, and it did not take long to break in to the American market. Bruce Gray starred on an episode on the Canadian show Traders. Pill got a role in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation with Wallace Langham, Liz Vassey, Michael Ensign, Michael G. Hagerty, Naren Shankar. She narrated the episode with "Would Have, Would, and Shoulda". Pill has worked for Picard for a year, later appeared as a secondary role in Devs the science fiction miniseries produced in collaboration with FX Productions and Hulu. She played the same role, Katie, in each episode, as she did in Picard. The similarities between these and the two shows didn't stop there. The show's creators revealed that the central concept is the preservation of the consciousness of a human in a computer creation, similar to what Data played in the film's season one finale "Et In Arcadia Ego Part 2."
